The peace and tranquility depicted in this painting was shattered on Sunday September 1, 2019. Hurricane Dorian a category 5 hurricane brought destruction and devastation to Hope Town. Though the road to recovery remains uncertain, the good people of Hope Town look forward to better times ahead.
About Ritchie Eyma
Born in The Bahamas, Ritchie Eyma is a noted landscape painter of Haitian extraction. His vibrant oil canvases, typically Bahamian landscapes and seascapes, present an interesting blend of realism and impressionism.
